Nightmares and Dreamscapes

Recently, I have been able to recall more of my dreams than usual and the dreams themselves even seem more vivid. I'm not sure why my dreams have taken a more significant role than usual, but for the time being it looks like I'll just have to enjoy the ride.

Some dreams, of course, aren't very pleasant and last night I had a rather ackward one. The dream starts out with me falling down an elevator shaft and slipping into a coma. I awake several years later to find Angel at my bedside. Even though perhaps 10 or 20 years had passed, Angela didn't look a day older than she does right now. She tells me about what had happened and informed me that I've also suffered some brain damage. The interesting thing is that I actually feel as though my mind was working slower and it was hard to concentrate on things.

The dream unfolds into a pseudo-futuristic (again, only a few years had passed) adventure in which personal liberties and privacy have become relics of simpler times and I'm forced to challange the Orwellian authorities of this society. That part was actually pretty entertaining but that's beside the point of this entry.

What I was actually thinking about for much of the morning was how the dream began. Or, more to the point, the role Angela played in the dream. She stuck by my side until I eventually regained conciousness. She didn't leave me and pursue other opportunities but she waited it out. And the more I thought about this the more I began to believe that she would probably do the same thing if this little scenario were actually to take place. Thats how much she loves me and that makes me feel like the luckiest man in the world.

I love you babe and I just want you to know I'd stick by you too. You are my soul mate and I couldn't imagine life without you. Every day with you is like a new adventure and I've never in my entire life been as happy as I've been in the last 8 months.
