So...
I have nothing to post! Anything I try to write seems like a major let down from the last post! : ) I am walking around in a daze. We're both sooo excited & happy. We went out to a celebratory dinner last night to Memories of Japan-- best best best sushi in Tulsa! I want to make sure that I take some time to really appreciate & enjoy the fact that I'm engaged, but I'm also super anal & want to make sure that I'm doing everything I'm "supposed" to do (call relatives & friends to give the news etc). So you married girls, tell me, when do I have to start planning?? Mike & I want a fall wedding (October/November 2006). I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I also don't want to be rushed!! I'M EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

i am a jackass and forgot to call you. it is never too early to start looking for a location for the ceremony/reception...we booked ours a year in advance. call me today or i'll call you later. i got distracted with my jack o' lanterns!

Start looking for a dress immediately. This was one of the hardest parts for me. Maybe cause I had no idea what I wanted. Picking out a photographer was the second most difficult task. I wanted a REALLY good one, but WARNING: they're EXPENSIVE!
i'm having the dress custom made--since the one i want to buy is $12,000! And I just found out from my mom that I already have a florist! She's a family friend who owns her own shop- she does amazing work & the best part is that she said all we'd have to pay for are the flowers (wholesale)- she'll do the designing/arranging etc for free!
i hate to break it to you, but you can't use sharp chapel unless you are alumni, faculty, or student. which sux cause it is the pretty! call me anytime, i dont work tonight at all...and i am looking forward to the concert tomorrow- have you guys bought tix yet?
Brooke- Mike's mom is an alum of the law school! yay- I called Sharp Chapel & they said that since Mike's mom was an alum, we could use it
yea i agree with brooke... never too early to start looking for a ceremony/reception venue.. you would be AMAZED how some of them book - weddings are nuts! =)
Congratulations Angela!! I got an email from your Friendster acct and was directed here and saw the great news! :) Keep me posted about everything, it's an exciting time and I wish you both the best, even though I've never met your now-fiance ;)
fab news ang! erm. shit. i think of you as ang sometimes. is that a problem? i abbreviate things a lot. let me know. anyway that is great, i LOVED having our wedding there, but there is not too much getting-ready pretty room-ness unfortch. we were in like a meeting room upstairs, and couldnt really take any pics outside as guests were arriving...but if you can work around that everything is FAB. let us know if there is ANYTHING we can reccommend or help with! FOR REAL!!! *makes giddy squealing noise*
"ang" is perfectly ok! thats what most of my friends/family call me anyway...
