Wallpaper is still the devil
If you're thinking of putting wallpaper in your house- DON'T! I finally finished removing it in the dining room over the weekend and omfg, what a pain in the ass! It feels so good to have it finished. I had to prime the wall, then texturize it, the prime it again, then finally paint. I used Restoration Hardware's Spanish Moss & it's exactly the color I wanted- it's perfect! As soon as I have some good natural light I'll post some pictures.

pretty! i agree, wallpaper IS the devil. when we were remodeling my parent's house a few years back, i remember spending DAYS scraping wallpaper... it was so old that no amount of scoring or steaming would get it off. we ended up having to resurface the walls because so much wall came off with the paper! pain in my ass... wallpaper should be banned. ;)

Now about wallpaper. I so agree with you that it is the devil. I put it up in my home office when I was 6 months pregnant 8 years ago. Now I want to take it off. But dread the process....and after reading your post...I might wait;)!
