We have tile!!
Both our guest bathroom and master bathroom had carpet when we moved in. Having tile installed was one of our top priorities, and yesterday it happened! First of all, WHO puts carpet in a bathroom? Gross. Secondly, please look past the hideous wallpaper- it will be down next week!

wow, dramatic improvement! yeah, carpet in bathrooms is yucky. my bro is re-doing a house right now too, and he's in the middle of ripping the carpet out of the bathroom. i had to take a shower in that room last weekend and stepping out of the shower onto the carpet was gross. i was thinking about how nasty it probably is UNDER the carpet... ewww. anyway, this is awful, but the wallpaper in there reminds me of the wallpaper CURRENTLY in my mother in law's bathroom. oops. ;)

you know my house was wall to wall carpet when we moved in... even the kitchen. i was the same way, GROSS OUT.
oh and to answer your question, we had laminate installed. real wood was too pricey and we only plan on living here for about five years. plus, anything beat that effing blue carpet. oh my gooooodness.
