When are you two going to have kids??
I swear to God people love to ask that question. I know they aren't doing it to piss me off but I'm more than tired of it. Guess what- we just bought a house. We're just now coming up on our 2nd wedding anniversary. There is NO rush! We enjoy our freedom. I love being able to stay up till 3 in the morning playing Wii with Mike. Or being lazy all day long in our pajamas. We want to travel (Japan with a baby? no thanks.), we want to be selfish. We're enjoying our puppy and can't imagine adding something even more demanding to the equation ( you can't crate train a baby! :) ) So to answer the question that everybody seems to be asking: We don't know! Maybe in 5 years or so. We're not even 30 yet. And stop asking. :)

AMEN, SISTAH!!! That was so well put... I too am sick of the questions, sick of people insinuating themselves into my life and sick of the expectations. We have no desire or intention to have babies anytime soon. We have plenty of other wonderful things to do with our time and know that having a baby isn't going to make our lives any more fabulous or fulfilling than they already are. Since when do people think they have the right to ask about our reproductive decisions? Geez. Sammy has put, under his Facebook "hobbies/interests": Trying not to have children anytime soon. I love it. You guys just keep having tons of fun... work on that great house, travel, entertain, go out, HAVE FUN being a couple and don't worry about all the busybodies. ;)

James and I are not even married and people still ask us that questions. I am like seriously?!?!?! Anyways the house is looking good. Oh by the way, when are you and Mike planning on having babies? Your Mom would be the best grandmother ever, I bet she would move to Arkansas!! Oh and just imagine the care packages that kid would get, the ones we got in college would be nothing compared to those. Anyways I hope all is well.

you can wait as loooong as you want. there is no rush.

We've been married for a little over 6 years and people still keep asking us. As if one day I'm going to say, "oh, next month actually ... can't you tell I'm 8 months along." It's so invasive and rude. I'm going to start retorting with an equally invasive and rude question, I think. Maybe then they'll stop.
