Weekend In Pictures

Our weekend trip to OKC was perfect. So much fun packed into two days!

A recap, in pictures:

I'll start with a scary pic of Mike, eating our insanely good vegan lo mein at Be Le

We checked into the hotel (amazing!) and started getting ready for the Kings of Leon show. A few pictures before we left the room:

The concert was amazing. In all the shows I've seen (Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Coldplay, Rolling Stones etc) KOL was probably my very favorite!!)

this morning we slept in and got ready to head home-

Recovering from the Circus

I took about a million pictures last night at Britney! I'm still editing and uploading but I wanted to share a couple of the videos that I took. The quality isn't fantastic, since it was just from my point & shoot camera, but I love them! Our seats were phenomenal- like so close it was scary! haha!

The Eagles!

We went to the Eagles show last night and it was amazing! The arena was at capacity. There were a lot of people that made the drive from Bentonville to Fayeteville and didn't make it inside. We left Mike's office right at 5 pm (the drive usually takes 20 minutes, but due to the concert traffic, it took and hour and a half!!) and were one of the last groups allowed inside. So we went from having amazing seats at Chris Brown/Fall Out Boy to sitting in the nosebleed section for the Eagles :( But, it was sooo worth it!

I forgot the camera, but it wouldn't have mattered we were so far away. So here are a few pics of the Eagles through the years...

Here's my amazing shot of us with my thumb in the way:

The show lasted almost 2 hours, long enough for them to play almost every hit they had as a band and as solo artists. You think of a hit Eagle's song and we heard it last night: Life in the Fast Lane, Witchy Woman, Take it Easy, Peaceful Easy Feeling, One of These Nights, Lyin' Eyes etc!!! The finished with Hotel California and Desperado.

I've never been at a show where you could hear the audience singing as loudly as last night. Everyone knew every word! My mom & dad were huge eagles fans in the 70's and 80's and I grew up listening to them, it was really cool to hear them live-- truly an awesome experience.
