Stuff I've seen, bought or want

Ahhhh, Eclipse. It was amazing! My favorite of the books and by far my favorite of the movies. I might have already seen it twice...

I just bought these boots. Faux suede (so they're vegan!), knee-high and comfy. I've already tried them on with leggings and my skinny jeans. Love love love them! Way cuter in person. And if we're friends in real life, you'll get to see them since these are probably the only shoes I'll be wearing this fall/winter. :-)

My mom and dad came up to stay with us for the 4th of July and mom took me to the MAC counter for my birthday. I started wearing MAC last year and I'm addicted. Love just about everything they make.

and I had to include this because, well because it's ridiculous and awesome all at the same time.

family weekend

what a fantastic weekend!! My parents came up from Tulsa and we spent some time at a few local arts & crafts fairs, ate some fantastic food and played a ton of board games. Instead of writing on and on, I'll just let the pictures tell the story:

P.S.- Mike refused to take normal pictures with me this weekend! He would only smile if I did something weird (like wear his glasses) What.A.Dork.

Random-ness

Lots of random little things happened this weekend. Dad left and we got some great pictures, I'll post later today. I got to spend time with my Mom and brother, which was so fun. We saw Ocean's 13, went to the casino and just relaxed. Mike apparently played xBox 360 with Dane Cook. Seriously! They played a game of online poker together-- maybe I can get Mike to blog about it later!

Every morning when Mike gets up for work, I wake up and make his lunch (awww-how cute!). Anyway, I can never get back to sleep so I've resorted to bad tv @ 6 am. Its become a habit to watch 2 episodes of Saved by the Bell and then Dawson's Creek. Its really funny to see Katie Holmes "pre-Cruise" :) Did anyone else watch Dawson's Creek in college? I think I watched the first season and then just stopped...

Oooh, Mike's brother (and my brother-in-law-- still sounds weird to me!) Rob comes into town this weekend. SO FUN! I know Mike is excited and it will be great to have him here for a few days. So, thats it-- I'll try to post pics later today!
